Current Four Mouliere Series

Launch of a series of four knives model "The Moulière".

I'm going on a 14C28N stainless steel base. I love working this steel, but it has the risk of torsion after quenching.
So it is important to be careful when pre-grinding and not to make it too thin which would give the blade all the chance to be veiled.

The woods that I will "logically" use for making the handles of these knives are:

-The Jacquier
-The Golden Madrone
-Olive Tree
-The Gonzalves

What I love about this job is the diversity of materials that can be used. The wood in this case has something particularly touching, profound, as much for the craftsman as for the future buyer. The rendering is never the same once on the other. And that is only happiness!

Business to follow ;-)

PS: Prohibition of making fun of the pictorial art of my hot chocolate mug! ;-)
